Basic Art Quilting Series classes are 1 ½ hours long, with a new class every month! Each class will feature

  • a basic design concept from design and color theory. As we explore this element of design or color, we will introduce
  • a mixed media art supply along with its amazing properties.

There will be instructional time as well as ample time to play, to plan, and to begin your own art piece. Samples will be available to inspire, but your interpretation of the class materials and inspiration are the guide for your art piece! Art quilting doesn’t have many rules…;) We will be with you to help identify inspiration if you are new to art quilting.

All supplies for each class are included in the cost. You are also welcome to bring any supplies from home that have inspired already and are simmering in the back of your mind. Please DO NOT bring items that can't get dirty as there is a high possibility of art supply mess. We also recommend an apron and clothing that is ok for stains.

Classes will be on the 2nd  Wednesday, and offered again the following Saturday each month, with the same class offered at two times for your convenience:

  • Wednesday evening, 6:30-8pm
  • Saturday afternoon, 2:30-4pm
